       Borne in the USA, from age two Yvette lived in the colourful, dynamic Province of Ontario, Canada. Her abundant talent and perseverance, that over many years of experience, was greatly influenced by her distinguished family heritage. Her great-grandfather Sir John G. Bourinot was a recognised authority of constitutional history, wrote books of parliamentary procedures, founding member of the Royal Society of Canada. Her great uncle Arthur S. Bourinot was poet, writer and painter, whose paintings hang in numerous exclusive  private collections.

Yvette's mother G.Doreen Bourinot (Schott) is an accomplished artist herself, who trained and encouraged her daughter from a young age to develop her talent to become an artist. Yvette done her first oil on canvas, at the tender age of ten and has consistently progressed to the highly coveted professional status she now enjoys. Her style is tastefully refined, with an innovative quality of realism, that profoundly captures the character and true inner spirit of her many diverse subjects. She has a keen ability and dedication to pursue original and unique subject material from all segments of Canadian Life.

Yvette participates in professional Art Shows, National & International Exhibitions and Solo Shows accross North-America and Europe. She has published 28 Limited Edition Prints, from her enviable collection of well over 450 Original Oils. The close to 400 SOLD originals to astute corporate and private collectors over the world, combined with the thousands of Sold Limited Edition Prints, show great appreciation of her talent, unique style and choice of landscape.

Yvette turned Professional Artist, over 35 years ago and participated in many Group Shows with other well known artists, and done countless Solo Shows, too many to list here.
